下面描述magnetic C4 phase的由来。Ba_%7B1%E2%88%92x%7DNa_xFe_2As_2 ,Ba_%7B1%E2%88%92x%7DK_xFe_2As_2Sr_%7B1%E2%88%92x%7DNa_xFe_2As_2Ca_%7B1%E2%88%92x%7DNa_xFe_2As_2在2017年附近发现,它们的磁性相具备四重的对称性,在掺杂的小范围变化下,这些体系随着温度下降发生接连相变:四方顺磁→正交反铁磁→四方反铁磁。因为四重旋转不变性,四方反铁磁相被称作磁性四重相(Magnetic C4 phase),与平常所说的magnetic C2 phase相对应。

Determining the microscopic nature of this surprising C4-symmetric phase is one of the major challenges in the field of iron pnictides!
