如果你在国外餐厅吃饭，想要餐巾纸，你会怎么说呢？
“Give me some paper？”No！
一提到纸，大家最先想到的就是paper。
但是关于“纸”的英文有好多种，比如在卫生间用的，吃饭用的，厨房用的。
今天小编给大家介绍英文里不叫“paper”的各种纸！
1.tissue：一般指的是那种薄薄的、一次性用的纸巾。
例句：
--Oh I feel terrible today. I've got a cold and a runny nose.
噢！今天好难受啊！我感冒了，还流鼻涕。
--Here's a tissue. Looks like you'll need it.
给你纸巾。貌似你很需要。

2.kitchen towel /kitchen roll：一般指厨房专用的一次性纸巾。
例句：
I will buy some kitchen towels in the supermarket.
我会在超市里买一些厨房用纸。
3.napkin：一般指在外面餐馆中使用的餐巾纸。
在餐厅吃饭的时候，桌上都放有餐巾纸，称为napkin，或者serviette。这种纸巾可以用来擦嘴。Napkin可以是纸做的，也可以是布料做的。
例句：
Can I have some napkins, please?
请给我一些餐巾纸好吗？
He picked the napkin from his lap and placed it alongside his plate.

4. toilet roll/ toilet paper：一般指在洗手间或者厕所使用的卫生纸。

5.paper towel：一般指在洗手间洗完手之后使用的擦手纸。
例句：
She tore off two sections of paper towel and folded them lengthwise.

If you see any remove them with a paper towel.
如果有的话，用纸巾擦干净。
6.wipe：一般指的湿纸巾。
例句：
Remember to take nappies and baby wipes .
