Metallographic experiments for cement

Cement is also known as a net slurry hardener. It is a hardened cement paste, called cement, written cement in English, sometimes written caement, which is a non-nonhomogeneous body consisting of gelinite, a core of unhydrated cement particles, pores, etc.

01 mounting
Due to the porosity in the cement, use TJ2562 for vacuum mounting, the resin is mixed proportionally in the Theta Vacuum cold mounting machine and the specimen is placed in the ThetaMount pressure cold mounting machine and cured under pressure for about 12h.;

09 Analysis

Cement is porous, for this reason vacuum cold mounting and resin is applied to fill the pores. The fine grinding should be extended appropriately to remove the fractured layer produced during the rough grinding. Cement is sensitive to water, so it must be polished with a non-water-based polishing suspension when polishing.
