第二节 无须表明动作的执行者

当动作的执行者在信息中无关紧要时，可以使用被动结构，同时省略动作执行者。

1. 困难克服了，工作完成了，问题也解决了。

The difficulties have been overcome, the work has been finished and the problem

solved.

2. 要造飞机，就必须仔细考虑空气阻力问题。

Air resistance must be given careful consideration when the aircraft is to be

manufactured.

3. 注意看看信的地址是否写对了。

Care should be taken to see that the letter is properly addressed.

4. 近来已注意到本馆存书惊人地减少，此事令人关切。现要求学生不要忘记

借还书规则，并考虑其他学生的需要。今后凡借书逾期不还者，必将按章处罚。

It has been noted with concern that the stock of books in the library has been

declining alarmingly. Students are asked to remind themselves of the rules for the

borrowing and return of books, and to bear in mind the needs of other students.

Penalties for overdue books will in the future be strictly enforced.

5. 我们最近查找了卷宗，发现本局并无此信。可以肯定的是，我们于两个月

前收到此信，经研究后，已寄还贵处。鉴于以上情况，贵处仍无收信的记录，

我们感到遗憾。如果你们找到此信，请即通知本局，不胜感激。

A current search of the files indicates that the letter is no longer in this Bureau's

possession. It is noted that the letter was received two months ago, and after study,

returned to your office. In view of the foregoing, it is regretted that your offices has

no record of its receipt. If the letter is found, it would be appreciated if this Bureau

was notified at once.

6. 唯一可见的光线来自某个“维也纳”面包店，早上一点钟的时候，那些需要

The only light visible came from the side of a certain “Vienna” bakery, where at one

o'clock in the morning loaves of bread were given away to any who should ask.
