The platelet nanobubbles (PNBs) with reassembled platelet membrane is fabricated by using a biomimetic hemodynamic shear stress approach. During the preparation, the adjustable pressure change induced shear stress is beneficial for re-assembly of membrane lipid rafts and transformation of integrin αⅡbβ3 into intermediate affinity on the gas-liquid interface.

Locally enhanced electric field treatment uses nanowire-decorated electrodes for bacteria inactivation with low applied voltages. Through operando investigation, we show that the bacteria inactivation specifically occurs at the nanowedge tips. The electric field is enhanced near the nanowire tips due to the lightning-rod effect, and the induced electroporation is the antimicrobial mechanism.
