WOW!!.. the price of your apartment is cheaper than BEIJING, to be honest, Chinese people who live in BEIjing have a huge burden to purchase apartment....Also in GUANGZHOU , SHENZHEN,SHANGHAI.... What is more , i think the prices of vegetables,fruits,meats and so on,compared with UK, are not expensive.. I think live in a small city is comfortable!!!!!!!!

fruit and vegetable are much cheaper in wet market. the biggest reason for me go to wet market in sunmmer is pineapple. pineapple is so cheap.

Lived in Foshan in 2014-2015 it was very affordable. A luxurious 24/7 security guarded condo with 28m^2 apartment for only 1350 rmb per month. The metro system is fast, clean and connects you to line 1 so you can access Guangzhou directly; buses bring you just about anywhere. A small price to pay to live in the most modern country in the world. For reference, I lived in China and America for about half my life on each side (only big cities like GZ, BJ, NYC).
