Begin by getting into a nice, comfortable, seated position.

You might consider your accomplishments, your personality traits, what you stand, and what you believe in.

Say out loud or in to yourself, thank you.

And as you consider this, you allow your awareness to expand again, not just about your body and who you are as a human, but also outwards even more into all that there is about your life that you appreciate.

What comes to mind first? Why are you grateful for whatever this is? What does this do for you? How does this help you in your life?

Tune into the great gratitude you have, whatever came to mind, and say out loud, I am so grateful.

Now take a deep breath in, stomach and rib cage fully expanding, letting this feeling of gratitude build at the top of the breath.
