I hate rides.

One summer, my mom and I went to Universal Orlando.

We were walking in Jurassic World and saw a river ride.

We love lazy rivers, so we thought that this ride would be perfect.

We got to the front of the line and hopped in the raft.

I was so excited.

We started floating and big doors opened to an awesome jungle.

The Jurassic theme song started and we floated past these really cute dinosaurs.

We floated through a bunch of caves and waterfalls and I saw a bunch of awesome flowers.

This was my kind of ride.

My mom was taking a picture of me next to the big dinosaur when all of a sudden sirens started going off.

Our raft jolted left and we turned into an area with insane looking dinosaurs popping out at us and then we entered a dark tunnel and started going up.

A frantic announcement came on that said something about evacuation.

I thought the ride was breaking down.

I turned to my mom and asked, what's going on?

She looked at me calmly and said, I guess this isn't a river ride.

You should probably close your eyes.

I covered my eyes.

My heart was pounding.

I wanted to get off so badly.

I could feel the ride climbing higher and higher.

There were loud sounds, sirens, and roars.

I could hear other people screaming.

I just wanted to get off.

Suddenly, my eyes opened to the loudest roar.

There was a huge dinosaur head that looked like it was about to swallow us.

Our raft was moving closer and closer into his mouth, and then we just dropped.

We went plummeting down in the dark at full speed.

And then I just screamed and cried and screamed and cried the entire way down.

And then I got stopping wet, and it was over.

So that's my scary ride story and why you'll always find me happily on the baby rides.
